Now let’s talk about the Garage, Shed & Carport Builder Show that was held November 4-5 in South Bend, Indiana. I had never been to the Century Center … or to South Bend, for that matter. It’s a beautiful venue that was easy to find. Everyone we worked with to produce the show were kind and accommodating.
Most importantly, the show gave us all an opportunity to gather in person, where I find ideas are sparked and plans are made to turn those ideas into reality. As a result of the conversations had at the show, you’ll be seeing some changes in these pages. You’ll be seeing more — MUCH more — carport coverage in upcoming editions. Count on articles about carport anchoring, metal-to-metal fastening, and more topics important to those who design and build with light gauge steel.
